Join me for Lunch at the Lounge!
Beginning February 13th, I'm 'launching' Lunch at the Lounge, a 60-minute talk show with an environmentally-oriented focus on BlogTalkRadio.

If you look around this website, and at other that I do, you'll see some common threads - ocean, art, entertainment. So, that's the basis of the show.

I'll talk with people like Gary Levine, the developer of Neptune Reef, the world's first mixed-use manmade reef. In 50 feet of water, Gary and his partner, Kim Brandell built their interpretation of the lost city of Atlantis. Gary sold the project to the parent company of the Neptune Society in May 2007.

You'll hear from painters, such as Pascal Lecocq, Patrick Chevailler and Wyland, sculptors like Simon Morris and Jason Taylor, and designers like William Braemer. Check out my Gallery of Underwater Art on MiamiArtOnline.

Hello Dolly!
The 17th annual debut of the world's finest collectibles - IDEX Premiere 2008 - took place January 25 to 27 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida. Here is a little highlight video I did. I am going to do another one featuring interviews with the a couple of the artists.

Do you use the Internet Effectively?
The January edition of Mark Hendrick's ISS program is now history. It was well worth the investment of time and money. Check out the link on the left, if you are interested in learning how to setup, maintain and/or expand an online business. The next conference is scheduled for March 27 to 30 at the Sheraton Orlando North in Maitland, Florida.

EcoRadio
The only information about the International Year of the Reef - www.iyor.org - on the radio is Liquid Lounge, heard every Saturday at 4:30 pm during Eddy Edwards' Caribbean Riddims on WKAT 1360 AM. This is the 5 January 2008 segment.

In addition to the Year of the Reef, featured segments include Dare to Grow Rich, the Ocean Realm Report and MiamisBest, a look at art, entertainment and outdoor recreation.

Sponsors needed for a 60-minute, drive time - 5 to 6 PM Wednesday - show. Call me if you can invest $1500 for a 13-week schedule.

Do you have video on your website?
I'm a PR guy and I think you should, if you are in business. Do you sell a product or service? Do you have a 'cause' that you would like people to donate money to, or buy things from?

I can help you, if you are interested, take video you shoot with your own digital camera, and edit it into a 3 to 5 minute clip.

Take a look at some of the video I've posted on Brightcove TV.

Most of the sites on the Screenshots page have some video. I'll be adding more in the weeks ahead.

This is a 'Saturday Night Sampler,' mixed from individual videos of galleries and artists recorded during Miami Art Walk & Talk, a series of episodes I am producing for Miami Art Online and MiamisBest.NET.

Dare to Grow Rich
It was a great weekend - December 14 to 16 - in Orlando, Florida. As my friend Ray Pelletier used to say, it was 'better than terrific.'  For now, I'll just say I learned how to change the past, and it's a good thing to do - for most of us. If you'd like to know more, here is my testimonial.

Rent a Condo in Port Orange, Florida
I have a 3 bedroom, two bath, first-floor condo, with a washer/dryer and walk-in closets, that will be available in January. It's in a 230 unit complex called Villaggio on the Lakes.

New Tourism-oriented Website for Miami
Speaking of MIAMIsBEST.NET, we began adding content this month. The site is part of the Golden City Guide Network and contains a booking engine for Miami hotels.

My wife and I plan to expand coverage of Miami's waterside recreation, i.e. scuba diving, sport fishing, boating; and entertainment, such as art, music, dining. We'll also report on special events such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Deco Weekend, the South Florida Boat Show, Seatrade and the Winter Music Conference.
